Interested in becoming a Sexual Assault Advocate for PAVSA?
Volunteering with PAVSA is a great way to give back to your community in that it is a rewarding and meaningful experience where you can provide absolutely critical services to victim/survivors of sexual assault in your community. PAVSA typically holds two 40-hour training sessions per year in the spring and fall. The training consists of 40 comprehensive, in-person hours that educate you to be a sexual assault advocate. Our amazing advocates staff the 24-hour crisis line when PAVSA offices are closed, and/or support victim/survivors during SANE exams in local Emergency Departments.
